This week was a modest one when it comes to Renewables Now's M&A stories coverage, with just a handful of deals reported. Still, a couple of Australia-focused articles stood out, most notably AGL Energy's deal to buy two solar-and-storage developers. Below is the full list of stories:

A fund of NextEnergy Capital (NEC) has signed a binding agreement to acquire a 248-MW solar portfolio in Spain, the London-based renewables manager said.

UK pension fund manager Railpen announced that it has formed a joint venture (JV) with Scottish independent renewables business GreenPower to co-develop a 66-MW onshore wind project in western Scotland.
