-- Musk relies on Saudi fund to take Tesla private

Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) CEO Elon Musk revealed that he is relying on equity from the Saudi sovereign wealth fund to take the company private, but also noted he is discussing the matter with other investors.

Also last week it was announced that Silver Lake and Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) are serving as Tesla’s financial advisors, and that the company had set up a special committee to evaluate the going-private proposal.
