-- NextEnergy Solar Fund buys UK rooftop portfolio of 1.15 MW

NextEnergy Solar Fund Ltd (LON:NESF) said it has acquired 282 rooftop photovoltaic (PV) plants in the UK with a combined capacity of 1.15 MW.

-- Temasek-led group to invest USD 200m in Cypress Creek Renewables

Singaporean state-owned investment firm Temasek Holdings Pvt Ltd is leading a group that will make a USD-200-million equity investment in US solar developer Cypress Creek Renewables LLC.

-- BMR buys 4-MW USVI solar park damaged by Maria

Clean energy firm BMR Energy LLC said it has acquired a 4-MW solar park in the US Virgin Islands (USVI) that sustained significant damage during Hurricane Maria last year.

-- ContourGlobal unveils EUR-63m solar sale in Europe, posts H1 results

ContourGlobal Plc (LON:GLO) reported “strong” first-half financial results, its first since the company's IPO, and announced the sale of a minority stake in certain European photovoltaic (PV) assets for EUR 63 million.

-- Lithuania greenlights Eesti Energia's Nelja buy

Estonian state-owned energy company Eesti Energia AS has won clearance from the Lithuanian Competition Council to buy Tallinn-based renewable energy producer Nelja Energia AS.

-- Lightsource BP buys 135-MW US solar project portfolio

Utility-scale solar developer Lightsource BP said it has acquired six US solar projects from Orion Renewable Energy Group LLC with a combined direct current (DC) capacity of 135 MW.

Danish steel contractor Bladt Industries A/S has formed a joint venture (JV) with a partner in Taiwan to make foundations for the emerging offshore wind market.

-- Brookfield discussing up to EUR-700m Bow Power acquisition - report

Canada-based Brookfield Asset Management Inc (TSE:BAM.A) is holding talks to acquire Spanish firm Bow Power, whose portfolio includes solar thermal and wind power plants among other assets, El Economista reports.

-- LM Wind completes buy of Dutch blade test centre

LM Wind Power, the wind turbine blade manufacturing business of General Electric Co (NYSE:GE), said it has completed the acquisition of the WMC wind turbine blade test facility in Wieringerwerf, Netherlands.

-- Ørsted eyes US growth with acquisition of onshore wind group LCE

Denmark’s Ørsted A/S (CPH:ORSTED) has agreed to buy US onshore wind developer Lincoln Clean Energy (LCE) and its 813-MW portfolio of recently commissioned and under-construction assets.

Enphase Energy Inc (NASDAQ:ENPH) announced it has wrapped up the acquisition of the microinverter business of SunPower Corp (NASDAQ:SPWR) “ahead of plan”.

-- Ontario utility makes USD-298m US hydro buy

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) will pay USD 298 million to buy New Jersey-based small hydropower plants (HPPs) operator Eagle Creek Renewable Energy LLC.

-- European Energy to sell 39-MW wind park in Italy

Copenhagen-based wind and solar developer European Energy A/S said it has agreed to sell a 39-MW wind farm in Italy to a local buyer, whose name was not disclosed.

-- Japanese cos buying 41% of Triton Knoll offshore wind project

Japanese utilities Electric Power Development Co (TYO: 9513), also known as J-Power, and Kansai Electric Power Inc (TYO:9503) will take a combined 41% stake in Innogy SE’s (ETR:IGY) 860-MW Triton Knoll offshore wind project in the UK.

-- KKR to take control of Indian enviro services firm in USD-530m deal

Global investment firm KKR & Co Inc (NYSE:KKR) will buy a 60% stake in Indian environmental services provider Ramky Enviro Engineers Ltd (REEL), which has a certain focus on renewable energy generation.

-- Weltec to modernise 2.2-MW insolvent biogas plant in Germany

Nordmethan GmbH, a company of German biogas plant specialist Weltec Biopower GmbH, has acquired and plans to modernise a 2.2-MW insolvent biogas plant in northern Germany.
