-- Greencoat to buy 45.2 MW of Irish wind farms from BlackRock

Irish renewable infrastructure fund Greencoat Renewables Plc (LON:GRP) has agreed to acquire 45.2 MW of wind farms in Ireland from a fund managed by BlackRock Inc (NYSE:BLK).

-- Swedish consultancy AF offers to buy Finnish Poyry for EUR 600m

Swedish technical consultancy AF (STO:AF-B) unveiled a plan to buy Finnish peer Poyry (HEL:POY1V) for EUR 611 million in a bid to create a new major player in the European engineering and consulting market.

-- Altus Power closes buy of 2.2-MW multistate PV portfolio

Altus Power America Inc said it has completed the acquisition of a 2.2-MW portfolio of three operational solar plants in the states of Colorado, New Jersey and New Mexico.

-- Competition watchdog clears Kepco's buy into Solar Philippines unit

The Philippines Competition Commission (PCC) has given the green light to Kepco Philippines Holdings’ acquisition of a 38% stake in Solar Philippines Calatagan Corp (SPCC), a unit of Solar Philippines.

-- Omega Geracao wraps up buy of 50% in 321-MW Brazilian PV complex

Brazilian renewable energy company Omega Geracao SA said it has completed the acquisition of a 50% stake in the 321-MW Pirapora solar complex.

-- Actis keen on buying Shapoorji Pallonji's solar ops - report

Private equity firm Actis LLP is in advanced talks to buy the solar portfolio of Indian industrial conglomerate Shapoorji Pallonji Group, which includes 400 MW of operational and under-development assets, the Economic Times reports.

-- MVV Energie plans to buy out renewables developer Juwi

German utility MVV Energie AG (ETR:MVV1) plans to take full control of majority-owned renewables developer Juwi AG over the next few weeks.

-- Black Hills buys 50% of 29-MW wind farm in Colorado

US diversified energy company Black Hills Corp (NYSE:BKH) said it has completed the acquisition of a 50% stake in the 29-MW Busch Ranch I wind farm in Colorado.

-- Carnegie sheds 50% of 10-MW Aussie solar park

Carnegie Clean Energy Ltd (ASX:CCE) said it has completed the sale of a 50% stake in the 10-MW Northam solar park in Western Australia to Indigenous Business Australia (IBA).

-- Albioma takes over solar co Eneco France

French renewable power producer Albioma SA (EPA:ABIO) said it has acquired solar developer Eneco France, part of Dutch energy company Eneco.

-- BayWa sells 41.2 MWp of French PV to Sonnedix, Allianz

BayWa re renewable energy GmbH has offloaded a 41.2-MWp solar park in France’s New Aquitaine region to Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd and Allianz Global Investors for an undisclosed sum.

-- Eco Energy World sells 130-MW solar project in Queensland

UK-headquartered solar developer Eco Energy World (EEW) said it has finalised the sale of the 130-MW Aramara photovoltaic (PV) project in Queensland, Australia.

-- Sammons buys 238-MW wind project in Texas

A unit of Dallas-based diversified group Sammons Enterprises Inc has acquired the 238-MW Rio Bravo wind project in Texas from renewables developer Longroad Energy Holdings LLC.

-- Greenbacker buys 10.8-MW solar portfolio in Maryland

New York-based Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC said that it has bought the rights to a 10.8-MW solar portfolio in Maryland from Sol Systems.

-- CEFC investing USD 72m in Australian Renewables Income Fund

The Australian government's Clean Energy Finance Corp (CEFC) announced it has made an investment commitment of AUD 100 million to the Australian Renewables Income Fund (ARIF).

-- European Energy completes sale of 25-MW Danish wind farm

Copenhagen-based wind and solar developer European Energy A/S said it has closed the sale of a 25.2-MW wind farm in Denmark.

-- Sempra Energy closes USD-1.6bn sale of renewables to Con Edison

Sempra Energy (NYSE:SRE) said it has concluded the sale of a roughly 980-MW renewables portfolio to Consolidated Edison Inc (NYSE:ED), or Con Edison, for about USD 1.6 billion in cash.

-- Greencoat UK Wind makes GBP-87m purchase in N Ireland

Greencoat UK Wind Plc (LON:UKW), a renewable infrastructure fund managed by Greencoat Capital LLP, said it has bought two wind parks with a combined capacity of 50.6 MW.

-- Total Eren sells stake in 97-MW wind project in Argentina

France-based renewable energy producer Total Eren SA said it has reached an agreement over the sale of a 34% stake in its Vientos Los Hercules wind project in Argentina to Japanese conglomerate Mitsui & Co Ltd (TYO:8031).

-- Enel exits Uruguay with USD-120m wind sale to Atlantica Yield

The renewables arm of Italian utility Enel SpA (BIT:ENEL) has sold a 50-MW wind farm in Uruguay to Spanish yieldco Atlantica Yield Plc (NASDAQ:AY) for USD 120 million.

-- SSE, Innogy give up on British retail tie-up

The previously proposed merger of SSE (LON:SSE) and Innogy’s (ETR:IGY) retail businesses in Britain will not take place because the two companies could not reach an agreement on revised commercial terms.
