-- Aquila closes buy of 50-MWp Spanish solar project

Aquila European Renewables Income Fund plc (LON:AERS) has wrapped up the purchase of its first solar asset in Spain, the 50-MWp Albeniz project.

-- Gresham House to buy 30-MW storage facility in Scotland

Gresham House Energy Storage Fund Plc (LON:GRID) announced a conditional agreement to buy a 30-MW battery storage project which will be the fund's first in Scotland.

-- Japan's Orix to buy major stake in Spanish renewables business Elawan

Japanese financial services group Orix Corporation (TYO:8591) announced that it has reached an agreement to buy a majority stake in Elawan Energy SL, a Spain-based developer and operator of wind and solar farms.

-- AES Brasil to acquire 158.5 MW of wind capacity from Cubico

AES Brasil (B3:TIET11), formerly AES Tiete Energia SA, has signed an agreement to buy all of the capital stock in a 158.5-MW wind power portfolio from Cubico Brasil SA.

-- Everfuel to buy fellow Danish hydrogen fuel firm DHF

Denmark-based green hydrogen producer Everfuel A/S has sealed an agreement to take over Danish Hydrogen Fuel A/S (DHF) for an undisclosed sum to bolster its position in Scandinavia.

-- Capital Dynamics sells 108-MW solar portfolio in California

Global private asset manager Capital Dynamics has divested a 90% interest in a 107.8-MW DC solar portfolio in Kern County, California.

-- EDP wraps up sale of majority in 563-MW US renewables portfolio

EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR) announced it has closed the sale of an 80% equity stake in a 563-MW US wind-and-solar portfolio to Canadian investment firm Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure, or CC&L Infrastructure.

-- CDPQ, Cathay PE join Ørsted in 605-MW wind project off Taiwan

Caisse de dеpоt et placement du Quеbec (CDPQ) and Taiwanese private equity fund Cathay PE will jointly acquire a 50% interest in the 605-MW Greater Changhua 1 offshore wind project from Ørsted A/S (CPH:ORSTED).

Ecofin US Renewables Infrastructure Trust PLC (LON:RNEW) has acquired nearly 12 MW of solar capacity through two projects in the US, the company announced.

-- ReneSola Power to sell 15.4 MW solar parks in Romania to Alternus Energy

US-based solar energy project developer ReneSola Power Ltd said that it entered into an agreement to sell two ground-mounted solar parks in Romania with a combined capacity of 15.4 MW to pan-European independent power producer (IPP) Alternus Energy Group plc.

-- Romania's Hidroelectrica to buy 108 MW wind farm from Germany's STEAG

Romanian majority state-owned hydro power producer Hidroelectrica said that it has signed an agreement to acquire the 108 MW Crucea wind farm located in Constanta county from German energy group STEAG.

-- Sonnedix closes buy of 55-MW Japanese solar plant

Independent solar power producer (IPP) Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd has finalised the acquisition of a 55.6-MW solar power plant in Japan.

-- GIP to acquire MAP Energy's renewables business

Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) will be taking over the renewable energy business of private fund manager MAP Energy LLC, including a portfolio of producing royalty interests across more than 16 GW of operating wind and solar plants in the US.

-- Enercon, EWE to set up 50/50 onshore wind JV targeting 5 GW

German wind turbine maker Enercon GmbH and domestic energy and telecommunications group EWE AG have agreed to form a joint venture (JV) that will operate on the onshore wind market, focusing on Germany.

-- 7C Solarparken to buy EnerVest Belgium, exceeds end-2020 capacity goal

German photovoltaic (PV) plants owner 7C Solarparken AG (ETR:HRPK) has made a number of solar buys at home and also agreed to take over the Belgian unit of wind operator EnerVest AG.

-- Aquila European Renewables to buy 40-MW wind complex in Greece

London-listed investment firm Aquila European Renewables Income Fund plc (LON:AERS), or AERIF, has agreed to acquire an 89% stake in the 40-MW Desfina onshore wind farm complex in Greece.

-- Capital Dynamics buys rest of 175-MW solar park in Arizona

Global private asset manager Capital Dynamics has acquired the 69.98% interest it did not already have in the 175-MW DC Arlington Valley Solar Energy II (AVSE II) plant in Arizona.

-- Poland's Tauron eyes offshore wind JV with Engie, EDPR

Polish energy company Tauron Polska Energia SA (WSE:TPE) has teamed up with a joint venture (JV) between Portugal's EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR) and French peer Engie SA (EPA:ENGI) to build together wind parks in the Baltic Sea.

Tauron said it has signed a cooperation agreement that will see it take a 50% stake in a portfolio of offshore wind projects in the Baltic Sea.

Fluence, the energy storage specialist formed by Siemens AG (ETR:SIE) and AES Corp (NYSE:AES), will receive a USD-125-million investment from the sovereign wealth fund of Qatar.

-- Kazatomprom in new attempt to sell solar PV ops again

Kazakh uranium producer NAC Kazatomprom JSC has launched an auction to sell its non-core subsidiaries engaged in the production of solar photovoltaic (PV) cells and modules.

-- US Solar Fund agrees up to 50% stake buy in Mount Signal 2 plant

US Solar Fund Plc (LON:USF) has signed a deal to buy up to a 50% stake in the 200-MW Mount Signal 2 (MS2) photovoltaic power plant in the Imperial Valley of Southern California.

-- EDP to acquire minority stake in Brazilian B2C solar producer

EDP Energias do Brasil SA (BVMF:ENBR3) has signed a deal to acquire a stake of up to 40% in local solar distributed generation (DG) firm Blue Sol Participacoes SA.

-- Bruc Energy, Alter Enersun form JV to push 550 MW of solar in Spain

Bruc Energy, an investment vehicle of Spanish fund manager Bruc Management, has formed a joint venture (JV) with compatriot Alter Enersun to promote 550 MW of solar projects in their native country.
