-- JinkoSolar, Tongwei plan solar materials JVs

China’s JinkoSolar Holding Co Ltd (NYSE:JKS) unveiled plans to cooperate with local manufacturer Tongwei Co Ltd (SHA:600438) on two joint ventures (JVs) for the production of solar materials.

-- Total Quadran selling 50% in 338 MW of wind, solar parks

France’s Total Quadran is selling 50% stakes in 338 MW of wind and solar farms in a deal that values the assets at an enterprise value of roughly USD 600 million.

-- Commerz Real buys into 133 MW of EnBW's wind parks in Germany

German electric utility EnBW Energie Baden-Wuerttemberg AG (ETR:EBK) said it has unloaded a 49.9% stake in a 133-MW wind portfolio to domestic investment manager Commerz Real AG.

-- China Three Gorges agrees purchase of 400 MW of renewables in Spain - report

China Three Gorges (Europe) SA has reached an agreement to buy a portfolio of more than 400 MW of operating renewables in Spain, Spanish news agency Europa Press reported citing sources close to the transaction.

-- Colombia's Isagen to buy two 19.9-MW small HPPs at home

Colombian power company Isagen SA said that it has agreed to acquire two 19.9-MW small hydropower plants (HPPs) located in the department of Antioquia.

-- Romania's Restart Energy to invest $30 mln in solar park

Romanian energy provider Restart Energy said that it plans to invest $30 million in a solar park in the northwestern locality of Sarmasag, Salaj county.

-- Cordelio Power buys 400-MW wind project from Tenaska

Cordelio Power, a renewable power producer fully owned by Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), has acquired a 400-MW wind project that is being developed in Missouri’s Audrain County.

-- Greencoat spends close to GBP 100m on Scottish wind acquisitions

Renewable infrastructure fund Greencoat UK Wind Plc (LON:UKW) has acquired the 50% it did not previously own in the 72-MW Braes of Doune wind farm in Scotland and agreed to take a minority interest in another Scottish project of 67.2 MW.

-- NTR buys 54 MW of solar and storage projects in Ireland

Irish renewable energy company NTR announced the purchase of a portfolio of co-located solar and storage projects with a combined capacity of 54 MW in Ireland from UK developer RES Group.

-- Old Mutual fund acquires majority of 5-MW solar farm in Namibia

South Africa-based insurer Old Mutual Ltd (JSE:OMU) announced the purchase of a majority stake in a 5-MW solar farm in Namibia through an infrastructure fund it manages.

-- India's ReNew Power to gain Nasdaq listing through merger at USD-8bn EV

ReNew Power Pvt Ltd, the Indian renewable power producer backed by Goldman Sachs, will merge with blank check company RMG Acquisition Corporation II (NASDAQ:RMGB) to secure a Nasdaq listing in a deal with an enterprise value of USD 8 billion.

-- Energy storage start-up Malta raises USD 50m

US thermal energy storage specialist Malta Inc announced it has raised USD 50 million in a Series B funding round led by Switzerland-based methanol and ammonia producer Proman.

-- Korea's SK Group wraps up USD-1.6bn investment in Plug Power

South Korean industrial conglomerate SK Group has finalised its USD-1.6-billion capital investment in US fuel cell systems provider Plug Power Inc (NASDAQ:PLUG) as part of a new partnership aimed at building a hydrogen economy in Asian markets.

-- CleanSpark acquires Solar Watt Solutions

Nevada-based CleanSpark Inc (NASDAQ:CLSK), which provides software solutions for the energy industry, said it has acquired California-based system integrator Solar Watt Solutions Inc in a cash-and-stock deal.

-- Goldman Sachs Renewable buying 55 MW of NY solar from SMT

Goldman Sachs Renewable Power LLC (GSRP) will acquire 55 MW of community solar projects from SMT Energy LLC as part of a broader partnership with the renewable energy developer.

-- EDP Brasil to acquire 34-MWp solar DG platform from AES Tiete

EDP Energias do Brasil SA (BVMF:ENBR3) has signed an agreement to purchase a 34-MWp solar distributed generation (DG) platform from power producer AES Tiete Energia SA (B3:TIET11).

-- Greencoat to buy 89.6-MW Irish wind farm from Cubico

Irish renewable infrastructure company Greencoat Renewables Plc (LON:GRP) said it has agreed to acquire an 89.6-MW wind farm in Ireland’s County Kerry from London-based renewables investor Cubico Sustainable

-- Shell inks deal for German VPP operator Next Kraftwerke

Anglo-Dutch oil major Royal Dutch Shell Plc (AMS,LON:RDSA) has agreed to acquire German virtual power plant, or VPP, operator Next Kraftwerke for an undisclosed amount, supporting its efforts to grow its involvement in clean energy.

-- Eni buys 20% in 2.4 GW of Dogger Bank offshore wind projects

Italian oil-and-gas major Eni SpA (BIT:ENI) now owns 20% in the first two phases of the 3.6-GW Dogger Bank offshore wind project in the UK.

-- HydroLand buys 25 MW of HPPs from Enel

US renewable energy firm HydroLand announced the purchase of 25 MW of hydropower capacity from the North American renewables business of Italian utility group Enel SpA (BIT:ENEL).
