-- NTR grows renewables portfolio with 19.2-MW Irish wind buy

A fund owned by Irish green asset manager NTR Plc has acquired a 19.2-MW wind farm at home for an undisclosed sum.

-- Tenergie venture seeks investors and plans expansion - report

Terre d’Energie, a renewable power producer that is majority owned by France’s Tenergie SAS, will try to lure investors in 2020 while also expanding and diversifying its platform, an official told Bloomberg.

-- US Solar Fund completes acquisition of 11 MW of solar in N Carolina

London-listed investment company US Solar Fund Plc (LON:USF) said it has closed the purchase from Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC of three operational solar power facilities in North Carolina with a combined direct current (DC) capacity of 11 MW.

Brookfield Renewable Partners LP (NYSE:BEP) announced an offer to buy the remaining 38% stake in TerraForm Power Inc (NASDAQ:TERP), valuing the company at USD 17.31 a share.

-- Nautilus buys 31.5-MW US solar portfolio from Virgo Investment

Nautilus Solar Energy LLC announced the acquisition of a 31.5-MW portfolio of operating solar farms across the US from Virgo Investment Group.

-- Qatar's Nebras buys 49% in 527-MW Goldwind project in Australia

Qatar-based Nebras Power announced it has finalised the acquisition of a 49% stake in Goldwind Australia's 527-MW Stockyard Hill wind farm in Victoria, Australia.

-- Downing completes sale of Scottish HPPs

Investment manager Downing LLP said it has completed the sale of equity it held in the last of seven operational Scottish run-of-river hydropower plants (HPPs) with a combined capacity of 8 MWp.

-- BayWa r.e. offloads 17.25-MW wind farm in Austrian Alps

BayWa r.e. renewable energy GmbH, a unit of German diversified group BayWa AG (ETR:BYW6), said it has sold a 17.25-MW wind power plant in the Austrian Alps.

-- Greenskies gets rebranded after acquisition by JLC Infrastructure

US solar power developer Greenskies Renewable Energy LLC has become Greenskies Clean Energy after being acquired by asset management firm JLC Infrastructure, the companies announced.

-- SSE closes divestment of UK retail unit to OVO Energy

SSE plc (LON:SSE) said it was closing the GBP-500-million deal to offload its household energy and services business to Ovo Group.

-- Aussie solar-wind project of 320 MW moving to construction with Iberdrola's help

Spanish utility Iberdrola SA (BME:IBE) will be DP Energy’s partner in a 320-MW hybrid wind and solar project in Australia that is planned to enter construction in the middle of 2020.

-- CLP India to buy 160-MW of Mahindra PV assets by end-February - report

Power producer CLP India is in advanced talks to buy a 160-MW solar portfolio of compatriot Mahindra Susten Pvt, with the deal expected to be finalised by the end of February, the Financial Express reports.

-- Masdar acquires 40% stake in 29-MW WTE Australian plant

Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, better known as Masdar, acquired a 40% stake in the 29-MW East Rockingham waste-to-energy (WTE) plant in Australia.

-- Masdar, Cepsa form Iberian JV to develop 500 MW-600 MW of renewables

Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC, also known as Masdar, has signed an agreement with Madrid-based oil-and-gas giant Cepsa to set up a joint venture (JV), targeting 500 MW to 600 MW of renewables in Spain and Portugal in the initial run.

Solarpack Corporacion Tecnologica SA (BME:SPK) has closed the sale of two 50-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) projects it is currently building in Spain to multinationally-backed firm Bruc Iberia Energy Investment Partners.

-- Cubico becomes owner of 50-MW wind farm in Uruguay

UK’s Cubico Sustainable Investments has acquired the owner of a 50-MW wind park in Uruguay from an unnamed group of investors, it announced.

-- Longroad to offload 70 MW of to-be-repowered wind farms to Xcel

Longroad Energy will sell two wind parks in Minnesota to utility Xcel Energy (NASDAQ:XEL) after implementing a repowering plan to lift the asset’s combined capacity to 70 MW.

-- EBRD to take EUR-60m stake in Egypt’s Infinity Energy

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has agreed to invest EUR 60 million in Egyptian energy company Infinity Energy SAE.

-- Duke Energy buys 20-MW distributed PV portfolio in Georgia

US utility Duke Energy (NYSE: DUK) said it has finalised the acquisition of a 20-MW solar project portfolio in Georgia that will be fully operational by the end of March.

-- Dandelion secures USD 12m in funding round

US residential geothermal startup Dandelion Energy Inc announced the closing of a USD-12-million Series A-1 funding round, bringing its total funding to USD 35 million.

-- Logan Energy raises GBP 1m to fund Chinese hydrogen JV

Scotland-based clean energy company Logan Energy announced it has raised GBP 1 million from Glasgow-based Kelvin Capital to invest in a hydrogen joint venture (JV) in China.

-- Etrion announces Japanese solar portfolio buyout

Solar power producer Etrion Corp (TSE:ETX) said it has bought out minority shareholders in its Japanese solar portfolio, thus boosting its net solar capacity to 56.8 MWp from 47 MWp.

-- Teck Resources buys 1.05-MW solar farm on British Columbia mine site

Canada-based Teck Resources Limited (TSX:TECK.A) announced it has paid about CAD 2 million for a 1.05-MW solar power system on its former mine site in British Columbia.

-- Peck completes and sells 1.6 MW of solar arrays in northeast US

US commercial solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company The Peck Company Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:PECK) said it had completed the installation and sale of two solar arrays with a combined capacity of 1.6 MW in the northeast region of the US.

-- John Laing looking to sell 500-MW Aussie renewables portfolio - report

UK-based infrastructure investor John Laing Group Plc (LON:JLG) has hired Macquarie Capital Ltd (ASX:MQG) to find buyers for its 500-MW Aussie renewable energy portfolio, according to the Australian Financial Review (AFR).

-- Trianel acquires 10.4 MW of wind turbine capacity in Germany

German municipal utilities group Trianel has purchased 10.35 MW of turbines that are part of a larger wind farm in Lower Saxony from developer Ebert Renewable Energy group.

-- Brazil's BNDESPAR exits Light

Brazilian utility Light SA (BVMF:LIGT3) announced it has received confirmation that BNDES Participacoes SA (BNDESPAR) has sold all of its shares in the company.

-- PASH Global buys stake in 50-MW solar farm in Mali

UK clean power projects developer PASH Global, majority-owned by Dutch commodity trader Trafigura, said it has purchased a 49.9% stake in a 50-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) park in Mali.

-- Leap raises USD 8.2m to fund growth of distributed energy exchange

Privately-owned company Leap has raised USD 8.2 million in new capital to finance the expansion of its distributed energy exchange.

-- US energy firm LS Power finalises purchase of EVgo

New York-based energy company LS Power announced the closure of its purchase of EVgo, the owner of a large network of electric vehicle (EV) fast chargers in 34 states.
