-- European Energy sells 14.4-MW German wind farm to Encavis

Danish renewables developer European Energy A/S said it has finalised the sale of 14.4-MW of wind turbine capacity in Germany to domestic group Encavis AG (ETR:CAP).

-- Altor fund to buy 30% in Swedish renewables developer OX2

Altor Fund V will acquire a 30% interest in Swedish renewable energy projects developer OX2 AB, which currently manages 38 wind parks totalling 2.1 GW.

-- Namibia's ANIREP takes control of solar IPP, EPC businesses

Namibian investor Alpha Namibia Industries Renewable Energy Power Limited (NSX:ANE) said it has completed the acquisition of majority stakes in two solar photovoltaic (PV) sector companies.

-- Gore Street enters exclusivity for 131-MW storage buy in UK

Gore Street Energy Storage Fund plc (LON:GSF) unveiled an exclusivity agreement for the acquisition of a 131-MW portfolio of energy storage assets in the UK.

-- TerraForm Power's stockholders to vote on buyout at end-July

The stockholders of TerraForm Power Inc (NASDAQ:TERP) will meet on July 29 to cast their votes on the planned buyout of the company by Brookfield Renewable Partners LP (NYSE:BEP).

-- Infigen advises investors to accept Iberdrola's sweetened takeover bid

Aussie renewables company Infigen Energy (ASX:IFN) has advised its shareholders to vote in favour of Iberdrola SA’s (BME:IBE) proposal to take over the company after the Spanish utility improved its offer.

-- KKR to take USD-192m stake in Philippine IPP First Gen

An entity owned by global investor KKR & Co Inc (NYSE:KKR) is acquiring a roughly 11.9% stake in Philippine independent power producer First Gen Corporation (PSE:FGEN) for PHP 9.6 billion.

-- GCL-Poly to offload majority stake in 100-MW solar plant

Chinese solar company GCL-Poly Energy Holdings Ltd (HKG:3800) said it has signed an agreement to sell a 75% stake in a solar subsidiary for CNY 136.6 million.

-- Capital Dynamics buys 353-MW N American solar bundle from Coronal

Asset manager Capital Dynamics said it has finalised the acquisition of a 353-MW portfolio of solar parks in the US and Canada.

-- TPG fund buys 1 GW of Trina solar assets to create new renewables platform

China-based photovoltaics (PV) maker Trina Solar Ltd (SHA:688599) has sold about 1 GW of solar assets to global alternative asset manager TPG, which in turn has bundled them in a new renewable energy platform called Matrix Renewables.

US geothermal company Ormat Technologies Inc (NYSE:ORA) said it has priced a bond issue worth ILS 1 billion, the proceeds from which will be used to finance an energy storage project acquisition.

-- Iberdrola closes acquisition of France's Aalto Power

Spanish utility Iberdrola SA (BME:IBE) has concluded the acquisition of French wind power company Aalto Power SAS for EUR 100 million.

-- Brazil's Eneva ponders new bid for AES Tiete

The management of Brazilian energy company Eneva SA (B3:ENEV3) is analysing the possibility of making a new business combination proposal to peer AES Tiete Energia SA (B3:TIET11).

-- Engie, Hannon Armstrong iron out deal for 2.3 GW of US renewables

Engie North America Inc of French energy group Engie SA (EPA:ENGI) has set up a partnership with investment manager Hannon Armstrong Sustainable Infrastructure Capital Inc (NYSE:HASI) to split interest and jointly invest in a 2.3-GW renewables portfolio in the US.

German energy major RWE AG (ETR:RWE) said that its complex asset-swap with rival E.on SE (ETR:EOAN) is now fully completed, creating a massive renewable energy business.

Dutch electric vehicle (EV) charging stations operator Fastned BV (AMS:FAST) said it has paid EUR 1.98 million for the fast charging network of local vehicle leasing company MisterGreen Electric Lease.

-- SWEPCO told "No" in Texas but proceeds with 810-MW wind buy

The Public Utility Commission of Texas has rejected Southwestern Electric Power Co’s (SWEPCO’s) plan to serve its clients in the state through the partial acquisition of a 1,485-MW wind project portfolio in Oklahoma.

-- Gresham House buys 41 MW of battery storage capacity from Arenko

Gresham House Energy Storage Fund Plc (LON:GRID) said it has closed the acquisition of a 41-MW battery storage system in England’s West Midlands county.

-- Engie Energia Chile buys wind, hydro assets from parent co

Chilean power company Engie Energia Chile (EECL) SA has purchased a special purpose vehicle holding a 48-MW wind farm and a 34.4-MW hydropower plant in the South American country.

-- Distributed Solar Development buys 7.9-MW solar portfolio in Colorado

US-based Distributed Solar Development (DSD) announced its first strategic acquisition of a portfolio of community solar projects with a combined capacity of 7.9 MW in Colorado.

-- ABB, Hitachi power grid JV launches operation

Swiss-Swedish industrial group ABB (VTX:ABBN) and Japanese group Hitachi Ltd (TYO:6501) said their joint venture (JV), Hitachi ABB PowerGrids Ltd, has started operation.

-- Petrobras kicks off sale of biofuels unit

Brazilian state-run oil and gas giant Petroleo Brasileiro SA (BVMF:PETR4) has initiated the sales process of its wholly-owned biofuels unit Petrobras Biocombustivel SA (PBIO), it said in a stock market disclosure.

-- F2i negotiating sale of 30% stake in EF Solare - report

Italian private equity firm F2i SGR SpA is in exclusive talks with insurer Predica, part of Credit Agricole SA (EPA:ACA), over the sale of a 30% stake in local solar farm operator EF Solare Italia, Reuters reported citing people in the know.
