-- Israel's Enlight negotiating 300-MW solar buy in Europe

Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TLV:ENLT) is holding discussions to acquire a 300-MW wind project in Western Europe, it said in a bourse filing.

-- India's Greenko agrees to buy Orange Renewables Singapore

Indian renewable energy company Greenko Energy Holdings said it has agreed to acquire Orange Renewables Singapore for a total enterprise value of USD 922 million.

-- TRIG buys 32 MW of French wind farms from RES

The Renewables Infrastructure Group Ltd (LON:TRIG) has acquired two onshore wind farm projects in Northern France with a combined capacity of 31.8 MW.

-- NJR sells Montana wind park, to shed all onshore wind assets in 12 months

The clean energy arm of New Jersey Resources (NYSE:NJR) said it has completed the sale of the 9.7-MW Two Dot wind farm in Montana to NorthWestern Energy for USD 18.5 million.

-- Automotive supplier Webasto buys EV charging business

German automotive system supplier Webasto Group has agreed to buy the Efficient Energy Systems (EES) business of California-based AeroVironment (NASDAQ:AVAV) to beef up its global electric charging footprint.

-- Brazil's CVM pushes back deadline for CPFL bid recalculation

Brazil's Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil (CVM) has postponed to June 18 the deadline for State Grid Corporation of China to recalculate the price at which it would buy out minorities in CPFL Energias Renovaveis (BVMF:CPRE3).

-- Enel to settle tender bid for Eletropaulo on June 7

Enel SpA (BIT:ENEL) will settle its BRL-5.55-billion acquisition of a 73.4% stake in Brazil's Eletropaulo (BVMF:ELPL3) on June 7, using short-term bank financing arranged and secured by its Americas arm.

-- BlackRock-Lightsource BP platform buys 57 MW of UK solar plants

The Kingfisher platform of BlackRock Real Assets and Lightsource BP has acquired seven solar power plants in the UK with a combined capacity of 57 MW, it was announced.

-- Engie to buy French solar and wind power producer Langa Group

French electric utility Engie SA (EPA:ENGI) announced it will acquire Brittany-based renewable energy producer Langa Group to consolidate its position in local wind and solar energy.

-- New Votorantim, CPPIB JV looking at Eletrobras units in Brazil - report

A newly-formed renewables joint venture between Votorantim Energia and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) could bid for units being sold by Brazil’s state-run Eletrobras (BVMF:ELET6), a top official told Reuters.

-- EDF to invest EUR 16m in hydrogen expert McPhy

Electricite de France SA (EPA:EDF) will invest about EUR 16 million in fellow French company McPhy (EPA:MCPHY) as part of a new partnership aimed at developing carbon-free hydrogen.

-- Russian wind industry group seeks OEMs for local production

The Russian Association of Wind Power Industry (RAWI) issued an invitation to original equipment operators (OEMs) of wind turbines to form partnerships with the aim of setting up production in Russia.

-- GCL-Poly finds partner for polysilicon unit after policy change

GCL-Poly Energy Holdings Ltd (HKG:3800) announced plans to sell a 51% stake in its indirect subsidiary Jiangsu Zhongneng Polysilicon Technology Development Co Ltd in the wake of solar policy changes announced by China on Friday.

-- SunPower to spend USD 15m on Hillsboro upgrade in 2018 - report

SunPower Corp (NASDAQ:SPWR) expects to invest up to USD 15 million in SolarWorld Americas’ Hillsboro solar module factory in Oregon this year, its CEO said as cited by The Oregonian.

-- Fortum to shed 54% of 185-MW Indian solar portfolio

Finnish utility Fortum Oyj (HEL:FORTUM) said it has agreed to sell a 54% share of an Indian solar power subsidiary and its 185-MW photovoltaic (PV) portfolio.

-- TerraForm Power secures 95% of Saeta

TerraForm Power Inc (NASDAQ:TERP) has secured a 95.28% stake in fellow renewables yieldco Saeta Yield SA (BME:SAY) through its tender offer, according to a regulatory filing.

-- EDPR recommends rejection of CTG's takeover bid

EDP Renovaveis SA's (ELI:EDPR) board of directors said it does not recommend the acceptance of the offer made by China Three Gorges Corp (CTG) for total control of the company.

-- Iberdrola looking to sell 50-MW Spanish CSP plant - report

Spain’s Iberdrola SA (BME:IBE) is seeking a buyer for its 50-MW Puertollano concentrated solar power (CSP) plant in the autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha, local daily El Economista reports.

-- Aditya Birla looking for new investor in solar power platform - report

The Aditya Birla Group is in search of a new investor for the renewable energy business held jointly with The Abraaj Group, Mint reports, quoting two people aware of the development.
