-- ERG to buy 80-MW renewables portfolio in France

A subsidiary of Italian energy company ERG SpA (BIT:ERG) has agreed to acquire a company that holds an operational renewables portfolio of 80 MW in France.

-- Mexico's Banverde raises funds to buy up 80 MW of rooftop solar projects at home

Mexican solar-focused private equity fund Banverde has closed a USD-57-million syndicated credit facility to finance the acquisition of small-scale solar projects in Mexico.

-- Ormat buying 67.5 MW of geothermal plants from Terra-Gen unit

Ormat Technologies Inc (NYSE:ORA) said it has agreed to purchase 67.5 MW of geothermal capacity, a greenfield development asset and an underutilised transmission line in Nevada from a unit of renewables developer Terra-Gen LLC.

Independent solar power producer (IPP) Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd has acquired a 22.3-MW solar portfolio in Italy from Spanish peer Solarig.

-- RP Global sells 12-MW French under-construction wind farm to Clearvise

Independent power producer RP Global said it has offloaded its 12-MW Le Champvoisin wind farm project in France to German sector player Clearvise AG.

-- Enerkon Solar eyes green hydrogen production JV in Cyprus

Renewables investor Enerkon Solar International Inc (OTCMKTS:ENKS) unveiled plans to form a joint venture (JV) to build a “small” green hydrogen production plant in Cyprus.

-- BayWa r.e. snaps up French developer Enerpole and its 600-MW portfolio

German renewables company BayWa r.e. announced that it has acquired French wind and solar power developer Enerpole, inheriting its 600-MW project portfolio.

-- GE tie-up offloads 88-MW Finnish wind project to Foresight

GE Renewable Energy announced the sale of the 88-MW ready-to-build Puskakorpi wind project in Finland and a turbine supply order for its Cypress platform turbines.

-- Macquarie Capital acquires biogas project in UK

Macquarie Capital Principal Finance said it has acquired a majority holding in a greenfield anaerobic digestion (AD) project, Evercreech Renewable Energy Ltd, in the UK.

-- Arise selling 242 MW of Swedish wind projects to TRIG, InfraRed

Swedish wind power company Arise AB (STO:ARISE) has agreed to sell a 242-MW portfolio of Swedish shovel-ready onshore wind projects to The Renewables Infrastructure Group Ltd (LON:TRIG) and funds managed by investment manager InfraRed.

French oil and gas major Total SA (EPA:FP) has purchased a 20% stake in domestic hydrogen taxi fleet and fueling station owner Hysetco in a move that supports its transformation into a broad-energy company.

-- PE firm to buy renewables developer Foundation Solar Partners

US private equity firm Hull Street Energy LLC said it has signed a deal to acquire Washington, DC-based renewables developer Foundation Solar Partners for an undisclosed sum.

-- EDPR to bag 628 MW of wind, solar in 1st deal in Chile

Portugal's EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR) said it has signed agreements to acquire a 628-MW wind and solar portfolio in Chile, to mark its entry into the local market.

-- Perovskites firm BlueDot Photonics bags USD 1m in financing

US perovskite materials start-up BlueDot Photonics Inc has raised USD 1 million in a Series Seed financing round led by early-stage venture capital firm VoLo Earth Ventures.

-- Hive Energy buys into Dutch bioenergy firm, plans joint waste-to-energy project

UK’s Hive Energy said it has acquired a 50% stake in Dutch bioenergy firm DBG Group B.V. and formed a partnership on a waste-to-energy project in the Netherlands.
