US electricity and natural gas retailer Genie Energy Ltd (NYSE:GNE) has bought a majority stake of an undisclosed size in solar panels maker and systems installer Prism Solar Technologies.
-- Softbank mulling investment in 500-MW PV project in India - report
SB Energy Corp, the renewable energy arm of Japan’s SoftBank Corp (TYO:9984), is expected to sign a deal to invest in a 500-MW solar project in India, being developed by Essel Infra Projects Ltd, the Economic Times reports.
-- NTR's 2nd fund buys 38-MW UK solar portfolio
The second sustainable infrastructure fund of Irish green asset manager NTR Plc has bought a 38.4-MW solar portfolio in the UK for an enterprise value of EUR 61.3 million.
-- Allete closes sale of 48-MW wind park to Montana-Dakota Utilities
Allete Clean Energy announced it has closed the sale of the 48-MW second phase of the Thunder Spirit wind farm in North Dakota to Montana-Dakota Utilities (MDU).
-- Greenbacker snaps up 13.9-MW solar portfolio in N Carolina
New York-based Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC said it has bought the owners of two solar projects with a combined capacity of 13.9 MW in North Carolina.

Dutch solar mounting systems supplier Esdec BV announced it has taken over EcoFasten Solar, a US sector player that, similar to its new owner, specialises in components for rooftop installations.

BayWa re renewable energy GmbH, the renewables unit of German diversified group BayWa AG (ETR:BYW6), has invested in Raycatch, an Israeli start-up that has developed an artificial intelligence (AI)-based technology for solar farms.

Lithuania’s state-owned Lietuvos Energija has completed the acquisition of a 34-MW wind portfolio in Lithuania from domestic wind farm operator Stemma Group.
-- Captona Partners adds to portfolio 6-MW PV farm in Rhode Island
US energy infrastructure investor Captona Partners said that it has acquired a 6-MW brownfield solar farm in Warwick, Rhode Island, as part of the company’s strategy for North American portfolio growth.

Estonian state-owned energy company Eesti Energia AS has wrapped up the takeover of Baltic renewable energy producer Nelja Energia AS.

ReneSola Ltd (NYSE:SOL) has entered into a letter of intent (LoI) to sell multiple solar projects in Poland with a combined capacity of 55 MW to global renewables investor Chroma Impact Investment.
-- Altus Power buys 11-MW solar portfolio in New Jersey
Altus Power America Inc said it has acquired a rooftop and carport solar portfolio in New Jersey with a total direct current (DC) capacity of about 11 MW.
-- Recurrent Energy inks build-transfer deal for 100-MW solar project
Recurrent Energy, a wholly-owned unit of Canadian Solar Inc (NASDAQ:CSIQ), has sealed a build-transfer agreement with utility Entergy Mississippi for a 100-MW solar project in Mississippi.
-- NantEnergy buys Sharp's energy systems, services ops in US
US intelligent energy storage solutions NantEnergy said it has acquired the US energy systems and services business of Japanese major Sharp Corp (TYO:6753).

Athena Investments A/S (CPH:ATHENA) said it has completed the sale of its last remaining wind farm in Poland to a local private investor for the sum of EUR 0.5 million.

Energias de Portugal SA (ELI:EDP) has agreed to sell 103 MW of small hydropower plants (HPPs) to investment company Aquila Capital, a filing with Portugal's Securities and Exchange Commission (CMVM) shows.

Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Inc (TYO:9501), or TEPCO, announced that it has acquired a minority stake in the 29.7-MW Coc San hydropower plant (HPP) in Vietnam.
