-- Brazil's Equatorial to acquire Actis-held renewables platform Echoenergia

Brazilian energy company Equatorial Energia SA (BVMF:EQTL3) announced it has entered into an agreement to fully acquire Sao Paulo-based renewable energy firm Echoenergia Participacoes SA.

-- SSE Renewables, Pacifico set up Japanese offshore wind JV

SSE Renewables, part of UK energy company SSE Plc (LON:SSE), has entered a joint venture (JV) with renewable energy developer Pacifico Energy to develop offshore wind projects in Japanese waters.

-- AC Energy, CleanTech Global to form 200-MW solar JV in the Philippines

Philippines-based AC Energy Corp (PSE:ACEN) said it has secured board approval to set up a joint venture (JV) with compatriot CleanTech Global Renewables Inc to work on a 200-MW SC solar project in the Philippines’ Cagayan province.

-- Aquila, Nippon Koei to jointly sponsor 25-MW/100-MWh BESS project in Belgium

German asset manager Aquila Capital Investmentgesellschaft mbH and Japanese engineering company Nippon Koei Co Ltd (TYO:1954) have jointly acquired a 25-MW/100-MWh battery storage project in Ruien, Belgium, and reached financial close for the scheme.

-- Greencoat UK Wind, partners to take 25% of 258-MW Burbo Bank Extension

Greencoat UK Wind Plc (LON:UKW) announced it is taking part in a consortium to acquire a 25% stake in the 258-MW Burbo Bank Extension offshore wind farm in UK waters.

-- Eni to buy stake in 1.2-GW Dogger Bank C offshore wind project

Italian oil-and-gas major Eni SpA (BIT:ENI) has entered into agreements with Norway’s Equinor ASA (NYSE:EQNR) and UK’s SSE Renewables to acquire a 20% stake in the 1.2-GW Dogger Bank C offshore wind project in UK waters, the trio said in separate announcements.

Scotland-based clean energy developer Intelligent Land Investments Group (ILI Group) said it has sold its 50-MW Auchteraw battery storage project in the Scottish Highlands to Field.

-- Chinese green tech firm Envision secures USD-1bn investment

Chinese green technology firm Envision Group has obtained an investment of more than USD 1 billion from California-based Sequoia Capital, Singapore’s GIC Private Ltd and China’s Primavera Capital.

-- Axpo buys minority stake in Swiss Green Gas International

Swiss renewable power producer and energy trader Axpo Holding AG has acquired a 25% interest in Swiss Green Gas International Ltd, which develops power-to-X plants for the production of green hydrogen and synthetic methane in Northern Europe.

-- OMERS Infrastructure to acquire US distributed solar firm Navisun

Canadian investor OMERS Infrastructure said it has agreed to acquire US distributed generation solar power producer Navisun LLC from a fund managed by Ares Management Corp (NYSE:ARES).

-- OX2 buying rights to 150-MW Swedish wind project from Vattenfall

Swedish renewables developer OX2 has sealed an agreement to buy the rights to a roughly 150-MW wind project in Sweden from domestic state-owned utility Vattenfall AB.

-- EDP Renewables buys into Sunseap in Asian renewables push

EDP Renewables (ELI:EDPR) has acquired a major unspecified holding in Singapore-based solar developer and operator Sunseap Group Pte Ltd, as part of a strategy to expand its own presence in the Asian renewable energy sector as well as to foster opportunities for collaboration in energy storage and green hydrogen.

-- Enertrag sets up JV to enter Spanish renewables market

German renewables developer Enertrag AG has formed a joint venture with Spanish peer TeXla Energías Renovables that will implement a 255-MW pipeline of mixed wind and solar projects in southern Spain.

-- Ørsted closes sale of 50% stake in Greater Changhua 1 wind farm offshore Taiwan

Ørsted A/S (CPH:ORSTED) said it has completed the divestment of a 50% stake in the 605-MW Greater Changhua 1 offshore wind project in Taiwan.

-- JinkoSolar to invest USD 70m in Chinese polysilicon JV with Tongwei

Chinese solar modules maker JinkoSolar Holding Co Ltd (NYSE:JKS) intends to invest CNY 450 million in a subsidiary of Tongwei Co Ltd (SHA:600438) to support the construction of a high-purity polysilicon production line.

-- Montenegro's EPCG to assume full ownership of Gvozd wind farm project co

Montenegro's majority state-owned power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) [BEL:EPCG] said it signed an agreement with Austria's Ivicom Holding to assume the full ownership of Green Gvozd, the company that will build the Gvozd wind farm.

-- Falck to buy 55-MW shovel-ready wind duo from European Energy

The Finnish subsidiary of Italy’s Falck Renewables SpA (BIT:FKR) has struck a deal to acquire 55 MW of ready-to-build wind farms in Finland from Danish wind and solar developer European Energy.

-- Total Eren buys 74-MWp solar farm in Cambodia from Risen Energy

Paris-based independent power producer Total Eren has acquired a 73.9-MWp solar PV farm in Cambodia to enter the renewable energy market in the country.

-- Mainova buys 25% stake in 175 MWp solar project in Germany

German regional energy supplier Mainova AG (FRA:MNV6) has acquired nearly 25% of a 175-MWp solar project which will be built next year in the state of Brandenburg.

-- Greenbacker boosts US footprint with 19.5-MW solar portfolio buy

Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC (GREC) announced it has acquired a 19.5-MW DC portfolio of operating solar projects in the US, expanding its footprint in New England and notching its first acquisition in Rhode Island.

-- KKR invests USD 2bn in Korean clean energy-focused firm SK E&S

KKR & Co Inc (NYSE:KKR) has made a KRW-2.4-trillion investment in SK E&S which the member of South Korean conglomerate SK Group will use as it grows and transitions into a clean energy solution provider.

-- BayWa r.e. subsidiary buys mounting systems maker PV Integ

Novotegra GmbH, a subsidiary of German renewables developer BayWa r.e. AG, has agreed to acquire Swiss mounting systems manufacturer PV Integ AG in a push to expand its portfolio with mounting systems for green and gravel roofs.

-- Koura to acquire battery tech start-up Silatronix

Boston-based fluoroproducts firm Koura said it has agreed to acquire Madison, Wisconsin-based battery technology start-up Silatronix to respond to the growing demand for energy storage.
