Delaware-based renewable energy project developer DB Energy Assets has secured a USD-50-million revolving loan to fund the purchase of an operating asset in its home state.

-- Greencoat Capital buys 99 MW of UK solar from Allianz

UK asset management firm Greencoat Capital LLP has acquired a 99.1-MW portfolio of solar parks in the UK from Allianz Global Investors.

-- Statkraft to become owner of UK's Solarcentury

Statkraft AS has agreed to buy UK solar project developer Solarcentury and gain access to its 6-GW pipeline of projects in Europe and South America.

-- Turnkey Capital to buy Florida PV installer Affordable Solar Solutions

Florida-based financial advisory company Turnkey Capital Inc (OTCMKTS:TKCI) said it has signed a letter of intent (LoI) to buy local firm Affordable Solar Solutions.

-- Gresham House buys 50-MW battery storage facility

Gresham House Energy Storage Fund Plc (LON:GRID) announced that it has purchased a 50-MW/75-MWh battery storage system located near Thurcroft, to the east of Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

-- NextEra Energy sheds stakes in over 1 GW of US renewables

NextEra Energy Resources LLC has agreed to offload 90% in a portfolio of 1 GW of renewable energy assets in the US, seeking to get USD 1.3 billion from the sale.

-- BayWa r.e. sells 41.7-MW solar farm in Spain to German impact fund

German renewables developer Baywa r.e has sold the nearly completed 41.7-MW Tordesillas solar farm in Spain to compatriot Commerz Real, an investment firm of the banking group Commerzbank AG (ETR:CBK).

-- Luxcara buys 172-MW German solar project from Belectric

German asset manager Luxcara GmbH has acquired a 172-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Germany from compatriot Belectric Solar & Battery GmbH.

-- RWE closes buy of 2.7-GW wind, solar project pipeline from Nordex

German energy major RWE AG (ETR:RWE) announced the competition of its acquisition of a 2.7-GW onshore wind and solar project development pipeline in Europe from compatriot Nordex SE (ETR:NDX1).

-- Mitsubishi UFJ, Arjun get clearance for 46-MW wind buy in Ireland

The European Commission announced its approval for the acquisition of two wind farms with a combined capacity of 46.5 MW in Ireland by Japan's Mitsubishi UFJ Lease & Finance Co Ltd (TYO:8593) and Arjun Alliance UK 2 LP.

Independent solar power producer (IPP) Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd said it has reached 249 MW of operating photovoltaic (PV) capacity in Italy with the acquisition of a 4-MW solar portfolio.

French renewable power producer Voltalia SA (EPA:VLTSA) has agreed to purchase a 70% interest in a 57-MW portfolio of solar projects in Jordan.

-- Scatec Solar's acquisition target to buy 39.4-MW wind farm in Vietnam

Norwegian hydropower company SN Power AS has signed a binding agreement to fully acquire a Vietnam-based owner of the 39.4-MW Dam Nai wind farm.

The board of directors of Athena Investments A/S (CPH:ATHENA), which operates wind and solar parks in Italy, has endorsed the DKK 3.70 per share takeover offer by Italian financial services company Fidim Srl even though the price is below the target's book value.

-- Q CELLS buys 429 MW of additional solar project rights in Spain

Solar products company Q CELLS, which has dual headquarters in South Korea and Germany, has acquired the project development rights for a 429-MWp solar portfolio in Spain from Madrid-based developer RIC Energy.
