-- Petrobras completes exit from 25 MW of small HPPs in Brazil

Brazilian state-controlled company Petroleo Brasileiro SA (BVMF:PETR4), or Petrobras, said it has closed the sale of its interest in two small hydropower plants (HPPs) totalling 25.4 MW.

-- Endesa buys 419 MW of mature solar projects in Spain

Spanish utility Endesa SA (BME:ELE) announced that it has acquired 419 MW of solar projects at home from Fotowatio Renewable Venture (FRV), a renewables developer and part of Abdul Latif Jameel Energy.

-- Briggs takes control of UK wind turbine inspection firm ARB Wind

British group Briggs Marine announced that it has taken a majority interest in Scottish onshore wind turbine inspection, testing and certification services provider ARB Wind Ltd, without indicating the size of the stake.

-- CPV buys 460 MW of US solar projects from Belltown Power

Competitive Power Ventures (CPV) has concluded the acquisition of 460 MW of in-development solar projects from Belltown Power USA Development LLC.

-- Alternus completes tap issue to buy 15 MWp of solar in Poland, Italy

Ireland-based independent power producer Alternus Energy Group Plc (OSE:ALT) has issued a tap bond to fund the acquisition of 15 MWp of solar farms in Poland and Italy and recapitalise an existing Italian park, it said.

-- California's FirstElement bags USD 105m to grow H2 refueling network

FirstElement Fuel Inc (FEF), a California-based firm building a hydrogen refuelling network, has completed a Series D financing round, securing USD 105 million to scale up its expansion plans in its home state.

-- MPC Energy buys 15.8-MWp solar plant in Mexico

MPC Energy Solutions NV (OSE:MPCES) announced it has established a presence in the Mexican renewables market with an arranged acquisition of Los Santos Solar I (LSSI), a 15.8-MWp operational solar photovoltaic (PV) plant located in the northern state of Chihuahua.

-- Greenbacker buys 11.3-MW solar portfolio in Minnesota

Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC has acquired a four-site pre-operational 11.3-MW (DC) solar project in the US state of Minnesota, the company announced.

-- Polenergia lands deal to buy Polish PV installer Edison Energia

Polenergia SA (WSE:PEP) has signed an initial agreement to acquire Polish solar systems developer Edison Energia in order to boost its presence in the country's increasingly decentralising energy sector.

-- US home security firm ADT to acquire rooftop solar contractor Sunpro Solar

US home security provider ADT Inc (NYSE:ADT) said it has agreed to acquire residential rooftop solar contractor Sunpro Solar in a deal with a total enterprise value of about USD 825 million.

-- Plug Power to buy Frames Group in USD-115m deal

Plug Power Inc (NASDAQ:PLUG), the US-based provider of turnkey hydrogen solutions, has agreed to buy a Dutch group to scale the delivery of electrolysers and grow its footprint in Europe.

-- Vision Hydrogen takes full control of Swiss VoltH2

Vision Hydrogen Corporation (OTCQB:VIHD) said it has acquired the remaining 84.1% it did not already own in VoltH2 Holdings AG, a Switzerland-based developer of green hydrogen production facilities and infrastructure.

-- Matrix Renewables acquires 91-MW Italian solar portfolio from Solaer

Madrid-based platform Matrix Renewables, created by asset manager TPG, has agreed to acquire an initial 91-MW solar portfolio in Italy from Spanish PV-focused developer Solaer.

-- Genesis, FRV to form JV for 500 MW of fresh solar in New Zealand

The Aussie unit of Spain-based Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) will partner with New Zealand utility Genesis Energy Ltd (NZE:GNE) to build up to 500 MW of solar parks in New Zealand.

-- GreenYellow acquires majority in 4.4-MWp solar DG portfolio in Brazil

French renewables business GreenYellow has recently concluded the acquisition of a 90% interest in a 4.4-MWp solar distributed generation (DG) portfolio from FazSol Energias Renovaveis.

-- BayWa r.e. completes, sells 1-MW solar farm in S Korea

German renewables developer BayWa r.e. AG has completed the construction and switched on a 1-MW solar farm in South Korea, its first in the country, the company announced.

-- Portland Trust completes sale of solar park project in Romania to Econergy, Nofar Energy

Czech real estate developer Portland Trust has completed the sale of a solar park project under development in Romania to renewable energy providers Econergy and Nofar Energy, deal advisor PeliFilip said.

-- Cold-energy storage firm Nostromo gets two new investors in US market push

Israeli ice-based thermal energy storage developer Nostromo Energy Ltd (TLV:NOST) has secured a combined incremental investment of up to USD 15.5 million, which will be deployed to expand its presence on the US market.

-- Engie, Credit Agricole reach deal for Spanish firm Eolia Renovables

French utility Engie (EPA:ENGI) and lender Credit Agricole (EPA:ACA) have agreed to purchase 97.33% of Spanish firm Eolia Renovables, gaining control over 899 MW of operating solar and onshore wind farms and a 1.2-GW pipeline of projects.

-- Blue Elephant nets EUR-50m investment for more solar, wind farms

German solar and wind farm operator Blue Elephant Energy AG announced a new investment partnership with domestic insurance groups Barmenia and uniVersa, and said the funds could contribute to purchasing more renewable energy plants in its pipeline.

-- Sonnedix sells 73-MW bundle of solar assets in Puerto Rico

Independent solar power producer (IPP) Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd will transfer all of its solar operations in Puerto Rico, including 73.2 MW of installed capacity, to US private equity house ArcLight Capital Partners LLC.

-- Polish group R.Power expands into wholesale with Menlo Electric deal

Polish solar developer and power producer R.Power Group is acquiring domestic photovoltaic (PV) equipment wholesaler Menlo Electric, broadening its footprint to ten European Union (EU) markets and preparing the ground for the purchase of more than 1 GWp of modules in 2022.

Enkraft Capital GmbH, a significant minority investor in RWE AG (ETR:RWE), continues to insist that the German energy major should dispose of its lignite operations and focus solely on its core business that includes renewables and Supply & Trading.

-- Greenbacker buys two additional solar projects in Maine from ReneSola

Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC said it has acquired two solar projects in Maine with a combined capacity in direct current (DC) of 6.6 MW from ReneSola Power Holdings.

-- Q Cells buys 190-MW energy storage project in Texas

Q Cells USA Corp has finalised the acquisition of a 190-MW/380-MWh standalone energy storage project in Texas from a local unit of solar and storage developer Belltown.

-- Repsol attracts Pontegadea investment in 335-MW Spanish wind farm

Spanish energy company Repsol SA (BME:REP) announced it has landed a deal to sell 49% of Delta, a domestic onshore wind park with 335 MW of total installed capacity, to Pontegadea Group, the investment vehicle of Spanish billionaire Amancio Ortega.

-- Sembcorp to buy 658-MW wind and solar portfolio in China

Singapore-based utilities group Sembcorp Industries Ltd (SGX:U96) will buy a 658-MW portfolio of wind and solar photovoltaic (PV) facilities in China from private equity infrastructure fund CGN Capital Partners Infrastructure Fund III and its affiliates.

-- Array to buy fellow solar tracker maker STI Norland in EUR-570m deal

Array Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:ARRY) has agreed to acquire Spanish competitor Soluciones Tecnicas Integrales Norland SL, also known as STI Norland, in a deal the buyer says will create the largest solar tracker company in the world.

-- Commerz Real enters French market with 18-MW wind farm purchase

German investment manager Commerz Real AG announced its first investment in France with the purchase of an 18-MW wind farm in the country from renewables developer BayWa r.e. AG.
