-- Avyan Renewable trims acquisition offer for India's SunEdison Infra

India’s Avyan Renewable Solar Pvt Ltd will acquire a 31% equity stake in Chennai-based solar installer SunEdison Infrastructure (BSE:531260), according to an amended share purchase agreement plan. Read more..

-- Ayala's AC Energy, Yoma Strategic plan renewables JV in Myanmar

Philippine conglomerate Ayala Corp (PSE:AC) announced that its energy platform will join forces with Yoma Strategic Holdings Ltd (SGX:Z59) to explore developing some 200 MW of renewable energy projects in Myanmar.

Specifically, AC Energy Inc plans to form a 50/50 joint venture with Yoma Strategic, through which the parties will invest at least USD 30 million in Yoma Micro Power (S) Pte Ltd. Read more..

-- EDPR, Aker Solutions join 500-MW floating wind project in S Korea

EDP Renovaveis (ELI:EDPR) and Norwegian engineering company Aker Solutions ASA have set up a consortium with Seoul-based WindPower Korea (WPK) with plans to develop a 500-MW floating wind farm off the coast of South Korea.

The two companies acquired a stake in the development company, Korea Floating Wind Power (KFWind), from its founders WPK and US floating wind specialist Principle Power Inc. Read more..
