PNE wins 24 MW of onshore wind projects in German auction
Sep 19, 2024 8:35 CEST(ADPnews) - Jun 27, 2011 - German renewable energy project developer Windwaerts Energie GmbH has singed a contract for the construction of an 18-MW wind farm with renewable energy investor Conetwork Erneuerbare Energien (CEE), Windwaerts said Friday.
Windwaerts has completed the planning of the park and will manage the building work until the facility is finalised. This will be the second wind park that CEE will buy from Windwaerts this year and the 30th wind power project for Windwaerts overall.
The facility will be located in Grossenwede, Lower Saxony, and will consist of eight turbines of 2.3 MW each. The turbines with a height of 150 metres (492 feet) will be produced by German company Enercon. The wind farm is expected to produce some 40 million kWh of electricity a year, enough for around 13,000 households.
The construction of the park has already started and the facility will be put into operation by the end of September.
CEE said it plans to keep expanding its wind energy portfolio within Germany and in Europe.
