WSB Neue Energien starts installing modules at Magdeburg solar plant

Sep 19, 2011 - German WSB Neue Energien announced today it has started with the installation of the 36,140 photovoltaic modules of a planned new solar plant near Magdeburg, Germany.

The facility will have a capacity of 8.5 MW and is to start supplying energy to more than 10,000 residents from the end of 2011.

The solar plant will be located on a former waste landfill site.
