Yingli Solar signs 500 MW PV panel deal with German distributor

Yingli Solar, a unit of Yingli Green Energy Japan Co Ltd, has secured a contract to supply 500 MW of photovoltaic (PV) modules to German solar components distributor Densys PV5.

The signed cooperation agreement, which builds on a 14-year partnership between the two companies, is aimed at jointly promoting the development of the residential market, according to a statement published today.

Densys PV5 is the result of the merger between German PV wholesalers Densys GmbH and PV5 Solarconcept GmbH back in 2014. Apart from solar modules, the company also offers energy storage systems, inverters and accessories.
