Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTThe Croatian government said it gave the go-ahead on Thursday to the city of Zagreb to borrow 18 million kuna ($2.8 million/2.3 million euro) from state-run development bank HBOR for energy efficiency projects.
The funds will be used for the implementation of the Zagreb Energy Efficient City, ZagEE, project, the government said in a statement after a weekly sitting.
ZagEE supports adopting energy efficiency-focused measures and technologies at municipal buildings, companies and installations.
The project is expected to result in 33,526 megawatt-hours (MWh) in annual energy savings, enabling the use of 490 MWh per year of energy from renewable sources at municipal buildings and a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 8,390 tonnes of CO2 per year, among other goals.
